Gully Boy: A Love Letter to the Streets of Rap

Being a Bollywood fan, I know what the clichés are. Specifically, those that are in the romance/drama genre. Therefore, it is always a breath of fresh air when some individuals can open their horizons and make something which is almost unprecedented. Those individuals in this scenario would be Zoya Akhtar amongst others. Why I only name her is because I have found myself to enjoy particular projects that she concorts. Movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do have given her a good grasp of developing something familiar yet unique. What do I mean by that? The movie ‘Gully Boy’, once I rip it to shreds, would explain it. For a brief summary of movie, Murad aka Ranveer Singh aka Daddy Sass is a wannabee rapper with Ray Rice as his father and Skyler White as his mother. If you don’t get those references, bruh, get on the internet. His girlfriend Safeena is played by Student of The Year and the only Bhatt I can bear. She is somewhat crazy and overprotective, but Murad be

My Yuri Harem{Vol. 2}: Round 3[47]

The days had slowed down ever since the new year hit. All the joints in my body wanted to stay stationary every single morning I tried to wake up. It was difficult to stay in my skin due to the stress that my work inflicted on me.   The blood that college assignments sucked off of me had become a norm. Traveling on the weekends for my work, sometimes in the middle of the study was becoming exhausting. And yet, I welcomed every following day with open arms because I no longer had to pay my bills. It had been ten weeks since my first kiss with the professor. Ever since then, she had been supportive and helpful towards my mental as well as financial structure. She bought the building in which I had leased a room. she assigned one of her workers to provide me with lunch whenever I felt necessary. I had realized that I Amaan didn’t know how to be a friend and was going overboard with the expenses. What I hadn’t realized was that she was smarter than she let anyone know. For all

Manga Review: She and Her Cat by Makoto Shinkai & Tsubasa Yamaguchi

Have you ever woken up in the morning and peeped outside of the window, where you saw a white fluffy cloud in the air going about its business? That is what it feels reading Makoto Shinkai and Tsubasa Yamaguchi’s “She and her Cat.” S&HC is a one-shot manga originally produced by the famed director of ‘Your Name Jeff’ & ‘Garden of Convoluted Puzzles’. He made it in 1999, and the manga was written in 2016. Also, for my artistic critique I’d only focus on the manga, because that is all that I have consumed of this piece. To preface, S&HC is a relation commentary between a girl and a romantically attracted cat, Chobi. It spans over one year, i.e. four seasons of the year, and deals with the mental toll our protagonist takes when she sees others doing well in their lives while her gratification comes from playing with her pussy (Literal Cat you degenerates). This summary is worse than one on WikiPedia, but I don’t want to spoil all the little percentage of fun thi

My Yuri Harem{Vol. 2}: Winner: Amaan[46]

The threat that the Professor Amaan had spat out about herself did not seem braggadocios. It seemed genuine, and I didn’t want to piss off another human being. But if it all was a bluff, then I could turn around and go home safely. I was smart enough to know when an axe was going to land on my foot. The past really had carved me into a smarter individual. I walked back to the lobby not out of fear, but out of curiosity. I thought if I develop friendly relations with her, she could be a strong ally. Who knew all of it would end in a clobbering? The maid who led me disappeared after making me stay in the lobby. I knew it was my second time looking at my eerie surroundings, nonetheless, it blew me away. The engraved textures of mahogany that surrounded the fireplace were beautiful. It gave an aura of the owner’s personality. An unstable fire lit under the beauty that surrounded it. I chuckled myself at the ridiculous deductions that my brain was making before scanning the who
